Bret and Hilary's Engagement Party

A few weekends ago we went to Bret and Hilary's Engagement Party! Michael has known Hilary since he was young so being a part of their special time is so exciting! They had their Engagement Party at the Tap House in downtown Seattle where they have over 160 beers on tap! What a fun time! Congratulations again Bret and Hilary!

Seattle Bridal Show

In the beginning of September we went with Michael's mom and sister to the Seattle Bridal Show. I was a bit nervous since I knew there would be SOO many vendors there, but I had great advice going in. Alicia was so sweet to tell me to bring with me address labels to save my hands from hurting so much writing the same information over and over again! We found a lot of great vendors and have actually decided to go with the florist we met there, POSH, and we are also speaking with a few photographers we met! It turned out great and we even won a few raffles!

River Rafting

What a fun last month! We actually got some great weather and were able to do some fun summer activities (which is why we haven't updated this for a while- so you might get a few posts, sorry)!
In the beginning of September, we went River Rafting on Snoqualmie River with Michael's sister Alicia, her husband Chris, and our friends Shelby and Justin. We had so much fun! The weather was gorgeous (but the water was still so cold). There weren't many rapids so next time we will try something a little faster! ;) We had a great time! Sarah's Birthday Weekend

Last weekend was my Birthday weekend and Michael was so sweet to set up a date for us! He took me to my favorite Italian Restaurant called Il Fornaio in downtown Seattle. They have an amazing menu and their bread is freshly made at the bakery on the first floor. After our yummy lunch, Michael took me to Pike Place Market and then to the Space Needle. I hadn't been up there in a long time and I forgot how high up it is! Since I'm afraid of heights, Michael kept me close to him so I wouldn't be afraid. It was the perfect day to go up! It was sunny outside and as they say here in Washington, 'the mountain was out.' We could even see the building that we are getting married in next summer.
We had such a good time! Thank you hunny for a wonderful Birthday!
